Aloha and Congratulations. I am very pleased Gov. Abercrombie made such a wise choice. I am sure you will bring much needed reason to Washington. I would ask that you take a reasonable approach to the Gun Law issues. Please base your vote on sound research into the facts. Restricting law abiding citizens access to guns increases violent crime. Please do not make this mistake for our country. Retain our rights to bear and keep arms. Do not make new laws in this regard but support enforcement of the laws already on the books. There are very good laws to keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them. Lets enforce these laws. Banning weapons and arms is not the answer and will only weaken our country. Please review the history of other countries that have eliminated citizens rights to bear and keep arms.
